We booked John for our wedding on 19/05/2018 at Wroxall Abbey in Warwickshire, and we couldn’t recommend his services highly enough. John met with us prior to the day and that meeting left us feeling confident that we had chosen the right man to provide the entertainment at our evening party. John was cool, laid back and very friendly, listening to what we wanted in terms of the music and the general vibe of the evening, as well as letting us know what his style of DJing usually is (which suited us down to the ground).
On the day, John arrived right on time (even though we weren’t on time of course!), and set up speedily with minimal interference to the day – the room looked great with the lighting he provided.
John also helped us with a special request we had (which was performing a song in lieu of a first dance) – he had no problem at all accommodating us in that regard, lending us microphones and allowing us to use his equipment to plug in a guitar.
In terms of the music on the evening, John was faultless; the dancefloor was permanently busy, we didn’t hear any of the kind of music we’d specified we didn’t want, and he took requests at his own discretion (sensible!) – the music was fantastic all evening and everyone had an amazing time. John didn’t ‘MC’ as some DJs do (which aligned with what we wanted).
We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend John to anyone, he made the entire process easy and comfortable for us, then delivered an absolutely cracking evening of entertainment – thank you John!!
